All-Star Blink-182 Tribute: Dude Ranch & The Girl At The Rock Show @ Phase 2

After rocking Firefly Music Festival, garnering a Feature from Billboard Magazine, Dude Ranch & The Girl at the Rock Show have Headlined some of the most biggest and highest respect clubs in the country, including The Fillmore Silver Spring, Rams Head Live, Gramercy Theatre, House of Blues Las Vegas, and Brooklyn Bowl in Vegas and NY.

The Rolston String Quartet @ Academy Center of the Arts

The Rolston Quartet including Luri Lee on Violin, Jeffrey Dyrda on Violin, Hezekiah Leung on Viola, and Jonathan Lo on Cello, is the Yale School of Music’s fellowship quartet-in-residence.

Carbon Leaf: 25th Anniversary Tour @ Phase 2

Carbon Leaf is celebrating its Silver Anniversary in 2018 behind a new album and extensive touring. Through 25 years together, the group’s independent music and spirit continue to resonate with its fans, and an authentic bond between the band members and their audience is evident. Writing and producing from their home studio in Richmond, VA, Carbon Leaf has released 17 albums and performed 2,400+ live shows throughout their enduring career.

Andy Mineo @ Phase 2

Andy Mineo is a hip hop recording artist known for his reflective lyricism. His sophomore album, Uncomfortable, became the No. 1 Independent record in the country and delivered a No. 3 and No.10 position on Billboard's Hip Hop and Top 200 album charts, respectively. Mineo headlined the Uncomfortable Tour, a 52-city tour which sold out legendary venues across America and in Europe. He has appeared on Sirius XM's Sway In The Morning, MTV, and his colossal hit "You Can't Stop Me" won an ESPN Whammy Award for MLB's Top Walk Up Song. Andy Mineo carries his music beyond through scripting, producing and directing many of his own music videos.

You're Jovian w/ TLVS @ Speakertree

You're Jovian hazard a vibe reminiscent of something The Cure might have released in between "Seventeen Seconds" and "Head On The Door"—that is, if Thurston Moore had stepped back in time to team up with Robert Smith. (Whurk)

TLVS - This art-rock trio has become a favorite of Lynchburg’s thriving musical scene thanks to their ambient instrumentals that leave their performances feeling more like flowing art than traditional rock music.

A Journey Through Space by Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra

The Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra's 35th anniversary celebration, Journey Through Space, features music from sci-fi movies. Bring the whole family to celebrate music from Star Wars, 2001 A Space Odyssey and Alien.

Chatham County Line & the Deer Creek Boys @ Academy Center of the Arts

The Raleigh, NC-based Chatham County Line—Wilson, John Teer (mandolin/fiddle), Chandler Holt (banjo), and Greg Readling (bass, pedal steel, piano)—coalesced in the late 1990’s. Today, the group can be described as “a veteran ensemble at the top of its game,” sticking to its considerable strengths—poignant songwriting and inventive acoustic arrangements that draw upon a broad array of American roots influences, highlighted by trademark three- and four-part harmonies that shine throughout.

Marty Stuart with The Secret Sisters @ Riverfront Park

Join the Academy Center of the Arts and BWX Technologies, Inc. as we kick off the 2018 Riverfront Park Concert Series with Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives. Hot off the heels of his tour with Chris Stapleton, Stuart and his band will head to Lynchburg, VA as a stop on the Way Out West tour, performing music from his album, Way Out West, one of MOJO’s  “Best Americana Albums of 2017.” Opening for Marty Stuart are the Secret Sisters, recently announced headliner of the 2018 Red Wing Roots Musical Festival and Grammy-nominee.
