Tales of the Midwives

Spend your Sunday afternoon immersed in the world and work of the midwife. Six midwives and a doula, ranging in experience from rookies to retirees, will share stories of laughter, shock, heartache, and joy as they reminisce about their service to women and families. You won’t want to miss this singular event, another in a series of public programs inspired by the year-long exhibit “Women With Women: a History of Midwifery in Lynchburg and Central Virginia.”
